In joining the Business Development team as Project Management Officer, you would support the pilot and implementation of the AIR+ transformation program in Ghana. The AIR+ Program is an important overall digital transformation program of Advans Group, involving a new IT strategy and major changes in Infrastructure, Workspace, Security & Mobility and Solutions (including a new Core Banking Software).
The overall program is supervised by the Group Transformation Team. It is conducted by the Central Program management of Advans Group, composed mainly of Group Program Managers specialized in each area.
The full-time position is based in Accra, at Head Office of Advans Ghana Savings and Loans.
What will your role be?
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Business Development Officer, your main responsibilities will be to:
Plan and conduct the deployment of the AIR+ transformation program in Ghana in order to follow up on the scope, time and quality of the project.
Supervise the delivery of the project: local test plan, test execution, local cutover.
In collaboration with the central project organisation offices, supervise activities and backlogs to deliver and align the subsidiary on central AIR+ program core model.
Organizes sessions to effectively resolve issues and align local teams.
Manage the local logistics and teams that allows the Project to progress.
Required Skills or Experience
What kind of profile are we looking for?
A good first Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Project Management with at least three (3) years of experience in project management with a digital component. A master’s degree or PMP certification, Information Technology and Security certification is an advantage. The potential candidate must have:
Clear understanding of what IT solution project management means and is familiar with functional designs, testing plan, cutover etc.
Participated already in at least one End to End solution deployment
Good organization and communication skills
Rigorous, proactive and autonomous
