GHANA JOBS Marketing Executive

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns using the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications. 
 

Technical/Operations Duties

Strategy

Maximise profits by developing sales/marketing strategies that match customer requirements and promoting products, services and or ideas
Develop and oversee marketing campaigns to promote products and services 
Participate in the development of the company’s marketing short, medium and long term strategies
Devise and present ideas and strategies
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/marketing plans
Generate revenue through recurring and new business opportunities
Manage and drive income generation activities
Design and implement a strategic marketing plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure strong brand presence
Maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

General

Work closely with other employees in areas such as advertising, market research, production, sales and distribution.
Oversee and develop marketing campaigns
Conduct research and analyse data to identify and define target audience
In-charge of promotional activities
Maintain websites 
Organise events and product exhibitions
Coordinate internal and external marketing activities
Monitor performance
Pursue new opportunities, gather in-bound leads and follow up calls or meetings

Digital Marketing

Manage marketing campaigns on social media
Perform on-line marketing trend analysis and come up with appropriate courses of action, marketing and sales strategies and promotions
Identify emerging digital markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
4. Sales and Customer Service Operations
Manage portfolio of accounts to achieve short term and long term targets
Develop positive relationships by handling customer needs. 
Legal Customer Contract Implementation
Research customer needs and requirements; implement new ideas/strategies to generate interest in the brand
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

Others

Cross country coordination
Compile and analyze sales/marketing figures
Meet and strive to exceed sales/marketing targets
Cross coordination among marketing teams in the different countries (both French and English speaking).
Accurate reporting
Train team members

Supervisory duties
Have direct responsibility over Marketing team
 
General duties
Any other duties that may be assigned.

Required Skills or Experience
Educational Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or any equivalent qualification.
An MBA and professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Technical & Technological

Computer Literate
Fluent in both English and French will be an added advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Efficient in using Microsoft office and computer applications. Able to report work actions and progress with Windows suite format (excel, power-point, word)
Knowledge of the sales and marketing life cycle.
