GHANA JOBS IT Manager
and results-oriented person with good leadership qualities and enthusiasm to fill the position of
IT Manager who will report to the Managing Director.
JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the Company’s Information
Technology through innovative and effective utilization of the available resources in achieving the corporate IT Objectives.
KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain appropriate policies, controls, procedures and systems to ensure the integrity and timeliness of data delivery on all activities of the company.
Generate and manage a central data repository of all relevant activities of the company and implement intranet for staff communication.
Perform system diagnosis, repair and updates to ensure reliability to automated tasks and to carry out security checks against unauthorized access.
Ensure adequate backup for all system applications, keep licenses up to date and validate disaster recovery plans
Maintenance of network infrastructure and update of the enterprise wide architecture.
Continuously train staff and other users on the use of the company’s application systems.
Undertake any other legitimate duties as may be directed by the management of the company from time to time
Required Skills or Experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
A first degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized university/Institution.
Masters/Post graduate qualification in ICT related programme is an added advantage
Professional qualification..
WORKING EXPERIENCE
Minimum of Six (6) years working experience with at least three (3) years proven experience of utilizing database to support the information needs of a related industry.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Excellent knowledge in network design, installation and administration
Excellent management, leadership and distinct Information Communication Technology skills
High sense of responsibility and result-oriented working attitude
Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
Be abreast with current IT Systems and latest trends in information Technology
