GHANA JOBS Head, Business

Identify and develop new market opportunities for the Motor Unit.
Develop and drive the motor pricing strategy of the organization.
Roll-out and develop the Motor Unit and Branch strategy to meet the Company’s retail and corporate sales and profit targets.
Lead development of the company’s Motor marketing strategy with an emphasis on achieving market penetration and sales growth with a particular emphasis on cost-effective customer acquisition and market demand generation.
Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy across key market segments for the Agency Channel
Lead Agency channels and manage sales operations organization, field sales organization to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Manage sales pipeline to ensure accurate and adequate lead inflow to reach targeted sales objectives.
Interact effectively with the Branch operations teams to ensure a smooth flow of information.
Develop and maintain initiatives in order to achieve up to date competitive analysis portfolio.
Develop and monitor quality metrics, establish and monitor progress against key performance indicators to ensure targets are continuously met.
Cultivate a culture of focused hard work and openness.
In liaison with other business segments, recommend incentive plans which motivate Agents to perform successfully against the objectives while respecting the budget.

Required Skills or Experience

Over 5 years experience in Sales and Marketing.
Work experience in the Insurance Space will be an advantage
Proven success in sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close deals’
Strong client management skills
Capable of handling difficult situations
Strong skills in researching and analyzing new business opportunities
Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
Strong communication skills
