LOCATION: High Street, Accra
JOB PURPOSE
To augment the Business Technology Solutions team with the capability to design, develop and maintain cutting edge social, Internet of Things (IoT) and analytics-based mobile apps in an accelerated time-frame.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with various units within Enterprise Group to capture user requirements
Apply best practice user interface design principles to deliver best-fit user interfaces
Develop cross-platform and native mobile apps for iOS (iPhone, iPad), Android and web with a consistent experience
Create prototypes, develop consumer centric digital solutions
Provide advice on technical specifications
Regularly research new technologies and practices
Maintain existing digital solutions
Required Skills or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Web Development or similar degree; experience may substitute for degree
Minimum three years’ experience in developing digital solutions
Professional certifications that demonstrate skills
Cross-platform Development experience
UX/UI Design Skills
Experience with modern Backend and Frontend Programming Languages (e.g. C#, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, PHP – (LAMP, WAMP, and LEMP), Java, Python etc.)
Any platform independent Mobile Development platform (Xamarin, Flutter, React Native, Cordova, Swift, Object C)
Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure)
DevOps (Continuous Delivery, Integration, Deployments, IAC etc)
OWASP top 10 aware
10 factor App development aware
Agile Methodologies Experience
Must have business acumen and customer experience oriented
KEY COMPETENCIES

Very good presentation / communications skills
Strong influencing skills
Leadership skills
Self-drive – ability to plan and execute correctly with little or no supervision
