GHANA JOBS Communications Assistant
Create timely and engaging social media content optimized for specific platforms and intended audiences
Analyze and report on stakeholder engagements social media platforms on a weekly basis for assessments
Support the Communication Unit with Communications tasks
Required Skills or Experience
A minimum of University Degree in Communications, social science, journalism or related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
A minimum of One (1) year relevant experience in public relations, communications, advocacy or social media communication, marketing and management
Excellent written and oral communication in English and a good understanding of at least one of the Ghanaian languages spoken along the coastal areas.
Demonstrated experience in the development and use of multi-media communications.
Working knowledge of social media campaign
Ability to work and deliver under tight timelines
Strategic content creation
Experience with print, electronic and broadcast media relations.
Familiarity with USAID project communication requirements.
Knowledge or experience working with the Fisheries sector, a plus.
