Job Description
Serendipalm is recruiting strictly field Staff for at most 3 years for a project in Asuom for the following position.
Responsibilities
Provide advice on child labor policy and all matters relating to child labor.
Administer child labor legislation.
Enforce child labor laws are working in various selected communities.
Provide career/vocational guidance and counselling.
Child labor desensitization, training and law enforcement, Co-coordinating and maintaining of all child labor elimination programs.
Help Serendipalm to spread the message that there is more that needs to be done to combat the violation of child rights.
Must be dedicated to the vision of Serendipalm wherein children are given the opportunity to find their identity, realize their worth and develop to their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.
Collection of data on households in selected farming communities in Kwaebibirem Municipal and Nyinahin District to be used to develop a tool for identification, classification and remediation of child labour and any other child protection issues that may be present, such as child abuse, child marriage, teenage pregnancy and child trafficking.

Required Skills or Experience
Child labour and child right knowledge in agriculture is a plus
A formal education in BA, Bsc or Diploma.
Self-driven, motivated, team-oriented and able to communicate and work with children, colleagues, community heads in a productive and open style.
Ability to analyze a problem and select practical solutions.
Excellent written and spoken communication and a proactive approach to effective communication in Twi and English are a must
Willingness to relocate full time to Asuom, Eastern Region
Ability to ride a motorbike with a valid license.
Basic knowledge and skills in emails and Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, etc..)
