Job Description
Specific Roles
The Chief Transport Assistant shall be in charge of the Transport Office and shall work under the direction and supervision of the Registrar.
He/she shall advise on all transport matters in the University, put in place efficent and effective systems to manage University vehicles and supervise Drivers of the University.
Required Skills or Experience
A person seeking appointment as a Chief Transport Assistant must:
hold a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Automobile Engineering or Diploma in Transport Management or in a relevant area of study awarded by a recognized lnstltutlon;
have served as Principal Transport Assistant or its equivalent in a University or comparable grade in a similar institution / organization for at least six (6) years:
be computer literate.
