The primary purpose
The BDM is to meet sales/revenue goals and ensure clients retention. Must be able to develop opportunities and manage account.
Critical Roles
Have a deep understanding of Company’s Product and Service Portfolio to be able to Sell/Market to Clients. This requires you to have much more than average understanding of the Company’s strategy.
Establish strong, trust-based relationships with the clients- and serve as the clients Advocacy
Ability to meet sales/revenue targets
Drive account planning process – with clear understanding of budget owners, influence centers and the approval process from the users to procurement departments
Drive clients loyalty and retention through excellence in clients’ service and support
Enhance the business capabilities and service offerings by listening to client needs and gain insights based on their needs.
Negotiating and obtaining competitive prices from Suppliers to enhance company offers to clients.
Identify and understand clients’ needs, proactively provide the right solutions that meet the clients’ pain points- working closely with the technical team.
Collaborate effectively with other functions i.e. Supply chain, Technical both at the prospecting and fulfillment engagement stages.
To be able to achieve all above, we believe strongly that the BDM will need to undertake training and Certification of OEM Required Programs and to Foster very Strong relationships with the OEM Teams
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum of a Degree with concentration in Marketing /IT or other related course
Matured and experienced resource with average of minimum 5 years sales experience in ICT / related Industry, and deep understanding of the competitive landscape
Flexibility to navigate ambiguity and effectively manage changing priorities
Strong commercial and business acumen and numeracy skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Customer Centric orientation, with Ownership mentality
