GHANA JOBS AC TECHNICIAN
Role Profile
The successful candidate will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
Required Skills or Experience
HND/NVTI certificate or its equivalent
Minimum of 3-5 years working experience as an HVAC technician
Requirements
Strength, agility and manual dexterity
Knowledge of HVAC Safety Standards and Protocols
Thorough Knowledge of HVAC Systems & Methods
Ability to tolerate working indoors or outdoors in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions
Customer service skills
Detail oriented, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
