Job Description
Department: Technical
Reports To: Maintenance Superintendant
Location: Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R.
Job Purpose
To design and implement complex industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical systems.
Job Duties
Follow the company’s Health and Safety Procedures to achieve set targets always.
Design, maintain, implement, and improve electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial purposes.
Confer with engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings.
Establish construction, manufacturing or installation standards by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
Write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Supervise and train project team members.
Maintain electrical equipment.
Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
Work with a variety of technicians to meet departmental targets.
Perform a wide range of engineering tasks per the daily demands of internal clients.
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum of HND, Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Practical knowledge/experience in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of two years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work independently and with less supervision.
Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
