GHANA JOBS Marketing Manager
Marketing Strategy and Implementation
Drives strategy and execution for digital marketing, lead generation and engagement, including content marketing, digital advertising, search engine optimization, mobile, and social media.
Develops the B2B demand generation strategy for Emergent Payments Ghana
Defines and develops a customer segmentation strategy
Market Research and Product Development / Improvement
Owns customer experience metrics collaborating with the service desk team
Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data to identify problems and pain points in the customer journey, as well as opportunities for growth.
Innovates new customer solutions for secure and convenient package delivery
Oversees customer insight survey processes, and translate insights into actions – new product development or improvements on existing one
Stays up-to-date with competitors and understand the latest trends in the industry.
Marketing Communication and Branding
Manage daily execution of campaigns across marketing channels.
Ensures brand consistency across media and platforms in marketing messaging and product copy.
Plays key role in local branding decisions
Nurtures campaigns available to the sales force
Manage social media accounts, by implementing a social media strategy
Required Skills or Experience
University degree in Marketing or a related field; an additional professional certificate in Marketing (CIMG, CIM-UK) will be an advantage
A minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, preferably in the retail and commerce industries
TECHNICAL (key job knowledge/skills required by the position)
Ability to create and manage content for distribution to online channels and social media platforms for B2B
Demonstrated ability to create B2B marketing programs that increase revenue and generate customer acquisition, conversion and lead generation
Ability to plan and execute digital Marketing Strategy experience.
Ability to conduct market research
MANAGERIAL (State key managerial knowledge/skills required by the position)
Ability to plan, organise and execute programmes
Ability to prepare marketing plans and budget and monitor their execution
Ability to deliver work to tight deadlines, with good organizational and time-management skills
PERSONALITY (State key personal attributes required by the position)
Ability to create / innovative; being organized /detail-oriented; team player/ solution-oriented approach
Have strong analytical skills, proven ability to consume and understand data, to provide clear results and analysis
Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels
Ability to communicate well, with good presentation skills
Being assertive – ability to articulate viewpoints and stick to them where necessary
